6.1Present continuous(affirmative and negative):
We use present continuous to describe an activity happening right now or an activity in progress     that we might not be doing at this exact moment  


Affirmative:
-I'm eating a sandwich.
-You're studying art this month.
-He/She/It's sleeping.
-We're having fun.
-They're writing a letter.

Negative:
-I'm not eating a sandwich.
-You aren't studying art.
-He/She/It isn't sleeping.
-We aren't having fun.
.They aren't writing a letter.

6.2Present continuous(wh-question):
wh-question + verb to be + subject + verb(-ing)
-what is she doing?
-what are you eating?

6.3Present continuous(yes/no question and short answers):


Yes/No question:
-Am I singing well?
-Are you talking to me?
-Is he/she/it playing well?
-Are we/they wearing a hat?

Affirmative short answer:
-Yes,you are.
-Yes,I am.
-Yes,he/she/it is.
-Yes,we/they are.


Negative short answer:
-No,you aren't.
-No,I'm not.
-No,he/she/it isn't.
-No,we/they aren't.


6.4Can/can't:
We use can to express ability.


Affirmative:
-I/You can speak German.
-He/She/It can swim.
-We/They can dance.

Negative:
-I/You can't speak English.
-He/She/It can't swim.
-We/They can't  dance.


Question:
-Can I/you speak Italian?  
-Can he/she/it swim well?
-Can we/they run very fust?
